About Jim Townsend
Townsend Constructors is owned and operated by Jim Townsend. Jim has numerous years experience owning and operating his own insulation distribution and fabrication business (Foamglass, Urethane, Polystyrene, Calcium Silicate, Mineral Wool and Styrofoam pipe insulation and fittings), an insulation contracting business and currently, Townsend Constructors, Inc.
As an Insulation and Asbestos Consultant, Jim wrote the Insulation Specifications in use by FPC, FP&L, Cargill and Publix.
He has many contracts with Florida power companies providing General Contracting Maintenance services. He also patrols a hot oil pipeline, performs cooling tower repairs, concrete repairs, mechanical piping, GE frame 7F stack repairs, boiler repairs, roof repairs, turbine pedestal repairs and miscellaneous services throughout the system.
